The Under Water World has bbb been developed to showcase the under water photos and videos taken over a three year period in Port Vila, Vanuatu, along with any trips to interesting place around the world.
May 2011 saw us diving in Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand. Having dived the Mikhail Lermontov back in November, a return trip was taken to enjoy the beautifuil scenery in that area.
A Thursday evening trip on the ferry to Picton, staying at the Tombstone Backpackers. Early start on Friday and met Tony Touch and the boys at Rai Valley. Followed them onto French Pass where we launched the boat.
Out through the pass and dived two wrecks - the Koronui and the Lyttleton. Very interesting dives, details to be added when I get time to edit the videos.
Also dived Durville Island, and the next day Tonga Island just off the Abel Tasman National Park. This is a marine reserve and the crayfish have to be seen to be believed!
Again, videos to follow...
